Web Chat Aide: Classifying and Detecting Offensive Language and Intent in Online Unmoderated Discussion

Discussion on the internet between multiple agents can be emotional and lack structure, leading to scenarios where some agents may make offensive statements. Sometimes, these statements may outright contain offensive language, other times, they may be more underhanded in their approach and not actually use any offensive language but have nonetheless made a personal attack. This project covers the implementation of Web Chat Aide; a program implemented using C# to: (1) classify offensive language usage in contextless phrases, (2) detect offensive intent usage in contextless phrases and (3) determine, combining both, whether a given contextless phrase is offensive.
