A Framework for the Analysis of Care Provider Risk

Capability Scotland is a charitable organisation working with disabled people of all ages, families with disabled children and carers throughout Scotland. The organisation has a number of services devoted to the care and education of its customers.

In its commitment to providing excellent care to its customers, incident reports are completed weekly by management of each service. At present, the reports are collated and analysed manually using a spreadsheet. In addition, summary reports of the data are manually visualised.

The main goal of the project is to develop a software system for the analysis, summarisation and visualisation of incident reports generated by Capability Scotland service management. The developed software system takes the form of a web application and will replace the current time consuming, spreadsheet based process.
